Kenza Sandi

Ms. Kenza Sandi is currently the Manager, Engagement & Research at the US-Qatar Business Council.

Ms. Sandi first joined the US-Qatar Business Council in February 2021, as a Research & Communications intern. After successful completion of her internship, she took on the full-time Engagement & Research Associate position at the US-Qatar Business Council headquarters in Washington, DC. Ms. Sandi’s role involves leading the research and data analysis for the Council, keeping track of foreign business investments and business opportunities relevant to member companies, coordinating events, and collaborating with the Business Development team. Ms. Sandi also manages the Council’s trade development services with state economic programs, including assessment of market competitiveness, sector trends, and stakeholder engagements.

Prior to her position at the Council, Ms. Sandi was an ambassador for the Arab-American Business & Professional Association (ABPA) for over 3 years and took on a Public Relations Consultant role at The Washington Diplomat.

Ms. Sandi graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Master’s in Democracy & Governance from Georgetown University, and holds a Bachelor’s in Government & Politics from the University of Maryland, College Park. While at university, Ms. Sandi held numerous leadership roles such as Vice-President of the Middle-East North Africa (MENA) Forum and Senator at the Graduate Government at Georgetown University.

Ms. Sandi has lived in Tunisia and Europe during her formative years, and fluently speaks French, Arabic and Spanish.
