With 12 graduating classes consisting of more than 550 alumni, Georgetown University in Qatar (GU-Q) graduates are making a significant contribution to a wide range of industries throughout Qatar, the Middle East and North Africa, Asia, and beyond. Graduates of GU-Q work in a broad array of fields including communications, consulting, finance, marketing, public relations, arts, and education in the private, public, and non-profit sectors.

In addition to the four-year liberal arts and social sciences undergraduate degree program from the world-renowned Walsh School of Foreign Service in Washington, DC, GU-Q now hosts residencies for a range of executive and master's degree courses including the International Emergency and Disaster Management degree and the Executive Masters in Leadership degree. The principle of educating people in the service of humankind guides academic pursuits at Georgetown, preparing generations to become leaders in a wide array of professions.

GU-Q is also home to the Center for International and Regional Studies (CIRS), the university’s premier research institute. CIRS is devoted to the study of regional and international issues, environmental justice, and race and society through dialogue and the exchange of ideas, research and scholarship, and engagement with national and international scholars, opinion-makers, and practitioners.

GU-Q also offers personal enrichment programs for working professionals through the Community Classes program. And the campus invites the public to attend a wide range of open lectures and programs featuring scholars, change-makers, and global leaders throughout the year.
