USQBC & USCC Private Evening Reception on Sidelines of Annual Meetings 2025

WASHINGTON DC- The US-Qatar Business Council (USQBC), in partnership with the US Chamber of Commerce, was honored to host a Private Evening Reception on October 15, 2025, on the sidelines of the 2025 World Bank Group and International Monetary Fund Annual Meetings.

The reception brought together senior leaders including H.E. Sheikh Bandar bin Mohammed bin Saoud Al-Thani, Governor of the Qatar Central Bank and Chairman of QIA; H.E. Ali bin Ahmed Al-Kuwari, Minister of Finance; H.E. Sheikh Meshal bin Hamad Al-Thani, Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the United States; alongside the Official State of Qatar Delegation, members of the Embassy of the State of Qatar, CEOs and Chairpersons of Qatari banks, senior US business executives, US Government representatives, and member companies of USQBC and USCC.

Remarks were delivered by Moe Barakat, USQBC Managing Director and Treasurer of the Board of Directors, and Kush Choksy, Senior Vice President for International Member Relations & Senior Vice President, Middle East & Türkiye at the US Chamber of Commerce.
