USQBC President & Managing Director Travel to Buffalo

On December 15, 2015, USQBC President, Ambassador Patrick Theros, and Managing Director, Mohammed Barakat traveled to Buffalo, NY to deliver a presentation on business opportunities in Qatar to a group of the state’s leading executives.

Lippes Mathias Wexler Friedman LLP, hosted a breakfast roundtable discussion with key influencers in Buffalo’s business community to learn about business opportunities in Qatar for American companies, as well as ways to attract potential investors to Buffalo.

The breakfast roundtable was attended by senior representatives of six major entities in Buffalo including Buffalo Niagara Medical Campus, Delaware North, M&T Bank, Mobile Pharmacy Solutions, Pegula Sports and Entertainment, and the State University of New York at Buffalo.

Lippes and USQBC are currently working on potentially conducting a trade mission in the Spring of 2016.

Roundtables, cross national meetings, and bilateral business opportunities play a key role in forwarding USQBC’s primary mission of enhancing the bilateral relationship between the US and Qatar.
