The Emiri Diwan has announced Eid al-Fitr holiday as follows:
For ministries, government institutions and public entities, the holiday will begin Wednesday, 28th of Ramadan 1436 H (July 15th, 2015) and ending on Thursday July 23rd, 2015. Work will resume Sunday, July 26th, 2015.
According to a Qatar Central Bank circulation, banks in Qatar will be closed for three days starting July 19 for Eid al-Fitr. This means banks will remain closed for five days, including the normal weekend holidays on July 17 and 18. They will reopen after Eid on July 22.
