- Committee on Demarcating Borders between the State of Qatar and Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, from 1996- 2000, and from 2009 – 2011.
- The Governmental Committee for Delineating Maritime Borders, 2009 – 2011.

- The Arab League's Development and Investment Committee on Investment in Comoro Islands, 2010 - 2011.
- He also presided over the organizing committees of several international conferences like the Group of 77 and China ,2005, New and
