Kenza Sandi

Associate Director of Engagement and Communications


Kenza is the Associate Director of Engagement and Communications at the US-Qatar Business Council (USQBC), where she leads strategic engagement, communications, and research initiatives to advance U.S.–Qatar bilateral and economic partnerships.

In this role, Kenza works at the intersection of the public and private sectors, engaging senior government officials, Members of Congress, and corporate leadership to promote bilateral trade, investment, and policy dialogue. She plays a key role in shaping and executing the Council’s high-level programming, including ministerial engagements, executive roundtables, and flagship convenings that support U.S. business interests in Qatar and the broader region.

Ms. Sandi directs USQBC’s congressional engagement efforts, including leading the planning and execution of non-official U.S. congressional delegations to Qatar. Through these initiatives, she facilitates strategic dialogue between U.S. policymakers, Qatari leadership, and private sector stakeholders, strengthening economic cooperation and advancing shared priorities.

She also oversees the Council’s market intelligence and advisory work, providing U.S. companies with analysis on sector trends, regulatory environments, and market entry strategies to Qatar and the broader Middle East. Her work supports business development efforts, informs investment decisions, and helps companies navigate complex and evolving geopolitical dynamics.

Since joining USQBC in 2021, Ms. Sandi has advanced through multiple roles of increasing responsibility, reflecting her leadership across engagement, research, and communications functions. She has been instrumental in expanding the Council’s partnerships, strengthening stakeholder relationships, and supporting high-impact initiatives across sectors including energy, technology, AI and defense.

Prior to USQBC, Ms. Sandi served as a Public Relations Consultant at The Washington Diplomat.

Ms. Sandi holds a Master’s degree in Democracy and Governance from Georgetown University, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude, and a Bachelor’s degree in Government & Politics from the University of Maryland, College Park. During her academic career, she held several leadership roles, including Vice President of the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) Forum and Senator in Georgetown’s Graduate Student Government.

Having lived in Tunisia and Europe during her formative years, Ms. Sandi brings a global perspective to her work and is fluent in English, French, Arabic, and Spanish.
