MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENT
The US Qatar Business Council takes great pride in hosting its first Forum on Islamic Finance last week in Washington that attracted some of the best minds on the subject to its panel. A stand room only audience participated in a lively exchange on this increasingly important subject. On the economic front, Qatar’s Central Bank followed the Fed in loosening the money supply while on the political front Qatar continued its efforts to advance peace in the Levant and in Yemen.
