US-QATAR business council

The Council works to enhance economic and business relationships, as well as the general bilateral atmosphere, between the United States and Qatar.

Business Facilitation Services
We sponsor lunches, seminars and other events for our members to meet and interact with senior Qatari officials. The Council offers its members access and introductions to companies and markets in the United States and Qatar and publicizes to a larger audience their business activities. We assist members in travel planning travel to each country including assistance with appointments and meetings as appropriate and possible. Within practical limits the Council provides its members with commercial information and due diligence.

Enhancing the Bilateral relationship
The Council monitors and corrects or enhances news reporting about Council members that appear in the American media. We also bring information about our member companies to the attention of Government officials in each country.

Networking Events
The Council provides a social forum where members can meet and interact with their Council Member counterparts several times a year.

The Journal
The Council’s twice monthly publication, the U.S.-Qatar Journal, delivered by email to Council members presents the best and most comprehensive report and analysis on Qatar available today in the United States. You will find back issues posted on our Member's website. This Journal gives our members important news on Qatar that is generally ignored by the major media.

Our Partners
The U.S.-Qatar Business Council works closely with the American Embassy in Qatar, the Qatari diplomatic missions in Washington and New York, with respective Chambers of Commerce, the Bilateral US-Arab Chamber of Commerce and the Qatari Businessmen’s Association.
